Lakers took the Blazers last night in an up tempo game that had me routing all four quarters.  This being the second straight win for the lakers after two previous losses to two of the NBA's weaker teams, was a needed win for them.  Pau Gasol had 10 points, 6 rebounds, and seven assits in his first game in nearly 3 weeks.   Kobe Bryant scored his first 14 points of 36, in the fourth quarter, which may have led to the Blazers defeat.  Travis Outlaw and martell Webster had 23 points each playing better offensively most of the night.  As with the last three games, Roy was out via his strained right groin.

Blazers next game tonight, 7:30 @ hame against the Houston Rockets.  They will then take the spurs at home on the 6th and will host the Lakers April 8th

Now this is a game I have been waiting for.  With the recent loss to the Bobcats, I am excited to see what the team is going to do in order to defeat this widly controversial game.  What I'm sick of is everyone who wants this game to be a victory telling me they wont be able to stop Kobe Bryant.  Saying that it is inevidable wtih Brandon Roy still out on his hip injury.

Joel Przybilla: holding the team up as best he can with 8.4 Rebounds,  1.24 blocks, and  .547% field goals

Coment back and let me hear what you have to say about this game.  I want to get the community involved and see what the public views are on this game!

  • Nate Not happy about the loss to the Bobcats tell reporters that "He didn't sences the pasion. They were not shooting the ball properly and that they shot only 36% off the floor." he went on to say that the lack of value in their game is apart of why they lost.
  • The last three teams played against the blazers were under 500 teams so the Portland Blazers need to step up there game to compete against the "giants" as McMillan states.
  • Feel free to comment back, I would like to here what you have to say about the Blazers and their up-coming games

  • Portland has a brutal april schedule ahead of them  loaded with playoff teams.  So beating the Bobcats (26-45) record at the Rose Garden will be an important step in finishing better then 500.
  • With Brandon roy injured and probably out these next few games. It will definetly be an interesting playout.
  • Portland Coach Nate McMillan stated himself that "Guy's are going to have to step up and get the job done or it's going to be an difficult night."
