First off - big sigh of relief that Rudy is more or less ok. I don't often want to punch people but after that flagrant I probably would've gotten myself arrested if I had been at the game. Anyone with a Lakers jersey on.....at least the team still handed 'em their asses! Anyway....I think it's doubtful that Rudy will play tonight. After losing Blake twice with the shoulder injury, they probably will want to play it safe. For tonight's card reading it looks like the team needs to keep their emotions under control because the competition is going to be rough and full of obstacles but Roy (most likely) will again led the way to a win. The cards are the Lovers, reversed, the five of wands and the page of pentacles, both upright. I hope this one is right. One step closer to the playoffs!

I've been locked into the world of baby for the last several weeks and have gone from a relatively well functioning human to something that can't even be charitably called a zombie state. Thankfully the little darling likes basketball game noises and she calms right down or goes to sleep. At least I'll only lose my voice in the Rose Garden and not my living room anymore. Today I've been looking forward to seeing our team take a hammer to the Lakers and remind them we're still contenders in this run. The card tonight suggest we will win. So tonight Daius Miles will be back. I doubt many will be happy to see him. The cards tonight prediction possible defeat and since I was wrong on the last reading maybe this one will be too. Anyway, the first card is the page of pentacles again but this time reversed. This can mean one is surrounded by others with very different, incompatible ideas. The second card, also reversed, is the 7 of cups. This one can mean good use of determination and will. The last card is upright and it was the Ace of cups. So tonight all the cards are upright so we should definitely win this game. I'm still trying to adjust to the new demands on my time so here's a brief rundown of the reading. First card up is the Empress. She stands for balance and stability. I take that to mean Roy and Aldridge will continue to rack up minutes at the end of games. Seems like our coach just isn't taking any chances. Second card is the 2 of wands. This one means creative ability, courage and good things to come. So I've noticed that I got 8 out of my 9 last predictions right and since tonight's cards say we may win, hopefully this will be right too. I'm gonna just dive right in with this reading. The first card is again the Ace of pentacles, which is upright and since this one just came up last time I'm sticking with my previous interpretation of it. Success and prosperity, thinking we may go into All Star weekend on a winning streak. The second card is the Fool and he was upright as well. Today's prediction is better than the last two and since my accuracy seems to be improving let's hope this is right. So the cards are coming up with two up, one down, a maybe win scenario. The first card is the Ace of pentacles which came up upright and usually meansthe beginning of prosperity, possibly in a business venture. I'm going to interpret that as this is the beginning of a winning streak. The second card came up upright as well and it is the two of wands. This card represents creative ability and good things to come. Fits nicely with the first card so my interpretation is going to stay the same for this one. The last card was reveresed and it is the three of wands. This one can represent mistakes made by carelessness. Yikes! We've seen enough of that in the last couple of games!

So I'm finding that taking care of a newborn makes for some scheduling challenges. Sorry I'm late but tonight's prediction isn't any better than last game. Same thing with the cards, two down, one up. Just gonna get right to it too. Frist card is the page of pentacles which was upright and stands for someone with a respect for learning and new ideas. Maybe McMillan had a new play or something tonight, I'm not sure about this one. Second card was reversed and it was the 5 of cups which stands for courage to overcome difficulties. So maybe we'll have another blowout fourth quarter. Here's hoping! The last card was also reversed and it was the 2 of pentacles which means plans may go awry. So I just realized the TV guide channel had the wrong start time for the game and the first quarter is under way. Nevertheless here is tonight's prediction. The cards came up two down one up so this is a maybe lose situation and since the Mavericks are only a couple games behind us currently seems like they're gonna give us a run for our money. The first card came up reversed and it was the 6 of wands. This relates to living in the past, outworn friendships and disappointment. I'm not really sure how to interpret this one except that perhaps we'll have a disappointing loss. Second card was upright and the 6 of pentacles. This one stands for prosperity shared with others. This one is a little easier since our team is so good at assists and no one takes all the credit when we win. Last card was the page of cups and it was reversed.This one relates to selfishness and lack of imagination so let's just hope it's a reflection of how the Mavs are going to play and not that one of our guys is going to turn into a ball hog. So that's it for tonight. Obviously if my prediction is wrong I'll be much happier and I bet evryone else out there will too!

Well I don't know if anyone has been reading this stuff but if so I apologize for not giving the Tarot reading Saturday and Monday. I went to a Dr. appt on Friday morning and was unexpectedly checked into the hospital to have my baby's birth induced a few weeks early! Everything went pretty well but being confined to a hospital room over the weekend kind of made writing here impossible. My surgery Sunday was interesting as the Dr. and I had been giving each other a hard time about the Saturday night game (he's a Utah fan) so I tried not to tease him too much about Utah's loss. I will be putting up the reading tomorrow night and will likely have some opinions about the game the next day. If anyone has been finding my ramblings interesting let me know!
